HELP had Sinus surgery 3 days ago and have no taste in mouth-when does it come back?

Hi I just has FESS endoscopic sinus surgery 3 days ago and my nose is a bit congested, I had no packing.. this surgery is not as bad as I thought, but one thing is that I have NO taste in my mouth, I was wondering when the taste buds comes back? I am so scared because I read that a side effect of the surgery would be to lose your sense of taste/smell. and I am a bit worried.
