What has the Iraq War gained us the U.S. citizens?

This situation has given some citizens the ability to realistically look at their government and know what it is capable of for corporate profit. Hopefully it will have spawned a new generation of Americans who understand what this country is supposed to be and will set the course for turning it back to what it was. Hopefully all the lies, monetary waste and international scorn were not a total and complete loss and something good will come out of. Maybe now enough people will realize what is happened and say enough and actually make change instead of just complaining about how nothing ever changes.
