Is she my true friend?

i can't make out if my friend who I've known for a year and some from work is my good friend or not. She is absolutely always there for me whenever I'm going through a heartache even though she has two kids and always talks to me for like 3 hours on the phone (which my mum complains she must have nothing better to do) and other stuff but when it comes to us going out shopping and stuff on the weekend she very rarely wants to - she has done but doesn't really want to. Yet somehow she's really eager to meet my boyfriend and came out to a party with me on Friday night (that she wasn't going to come to) as I told her that he was meeting us after for a few drinks. She's really eager to meet him - possibly over eager. Also she was there when I broke up with my ex and I found out the other day that she'd texted him kind of behind my back (the text only said "Hi, how r u?")but she texted him 2 weeks ago and only thought to tell me she'd done so when she knew I'd met up with him. how's it sound
