What is Beethoven’s relationship with nature, and in what piece is it manifested the most?

Beethoven loved to be out in the woods and parks and it's very evident in his Symphony No. 6 the "Pastorale" in which he describes musically his ride in the woods, the thunderstorm, and the beautiful serene scene afterwards - Nature at its best!
