Does men always think that a woman has no day off from cooking?

I'm not sure whether you'll think this is the proper response, but if this is a window of things to come, I'd reconsider the relationship. If he's going to yell at you about something like that, and can't be bothered to help out a little or support your goals, he isn't for you. This isn't about his ideas about your roles as a man and a woman. It's about his being lazy and wanting to be waited on.
