America Idol stupid question...?

okay this is really a stupid question about american idol but...how do you become the person that hands out the golden tickets? every once in awhile, i see a person sitting in the corner next to the door. as the people that made it to hollywood walk out, this person hands them thier golden ticket. i think it would be really fun to be the person that does that. just sit back and watch either the hilarious ones or the really good ones that could be the next american idol. also you get to meet simon, paula, and randy. anyone know how to get the job? plz no stupid answers. thanks!!
